Music...

Music. A wonderful art that most people... Well, listen to.

I am a huge fan of beats, in the music. Which is why I'm a drummer.
But I've been noticing how it's funny how some people go through stages of where they listen to some songs a lot, and then they move on to listening to some other band/singer a bunch. Well, at least for me.
I used to be insanely in love with the Singer/song writer Natasha Bedingfield. Then The Killers. Avenged Sevondfold. And now, Jason Mraz. I love music, and always will. But there are so many different types. There's rock, pop, metal, R&B, rap, ect. And I'm personally, a fan of pop, rock, and metal. Recently I've been looking for some new bands that I might be interested in. And I've been listening to some more All-American Rejects, Metro Station, and a few others. But they're still not quite what I was looking for...

Journey outrage!

Well, there's this horrible news that Steve Perry is NOT in Journey anymore!
I found out a little while ago. And I was a little annoyed. But I recently listened to a song (Don't Stop Believin') that the new guy did... I'm very disappointed! Steve Perry basically IS Journey! He's the full thing! If you can't get Steve Perry, it's not really Journey! It's an outrage!
It seems that they kicked him out 'cause he needed some hip surgery... And was holding up the tour. I was devastated... Maybe someday, Journey will be the Journey it used to be...

Chinese Pig Latin vs. Pig Latin

Well, lately I have been speaking a lot of Pig Latin, and Chinese Pig Latin. I'm pretty good at both. But I'm trying to figure out which I like better.

The upsides to Pig Latin are, that you don't have to spell everything out, and you just say it, goes along a lot quicker. And it's also a lot easier to understand/say when people don't know how to spell something.

The upsides to Chinese Pig Latin.... Well, it sounds really cool, and it can help with learning how to spell things....That's one of the ways I learned how to spell, actually.

Recently Pig Latin has been the language my family and I have been speaking around the house. It's been a lot of fun saying things like "Annaway aplay ananabay amsgray?!"
Translation: "Wanna Bananagrams?!"
Yelling that across the house... And no one but yourself understands a word you just said.

But I suppose I went through stages of where I wanted to speak Chinese Pig Latin all of the time as well. Which seems to have gotten boring after a while.

I first learned Chinese Pig Latin around the time that I lived in Moorhead MN. (About 2-3 years ago) Me, Abbi, my mom, and my Grandma were speaking it like crazy! I didn't know how to say anything but "Wung A lung lung" but saying that over and over was quite a treat.

And just a few days ago... I learned Pig Latin. Which has been so much fun. I'm already speaking it quickly with Abbi, and sending messages to friends over the internet. Hopefully soon I'll be able to just speak it without thinking.

But. Overall, I think I've decided that I like Pig Latin better. Something new to experiment with...

Samwise Gamgee Traaseth 2002-2009.

This morning my guinea pig had to be taken in and put down...
I noticed how amazing it was that I got so attached to a small creature like that.

I can't believe he's gone, and how quickly he's life went by. I can't even remember back when he wasn't in my life.
I used to make jokes and things about how once he died I could get a bunny, or hamster, or rat.
But never actually thought about how sad it would be when it really happened.
It seems like only a few days ago he was able to curl up in a ball in my palm, and purred up near Rosie.

Whenever I would walk by his cage the sound of his squeaking; always checking his water; him licking my fingers when I poked them into his cage... All of those little things, no longer going to happen.

But I noticed how much he helped me learn. And that now he's going to go and spend some wonderful time with Rosie, and as Karina says; "Go kick the ghost Hitler's ass!"
But something inside me is telling me that it was his time... Even if I don't exactly feel completely happy about it. I think it was the right thing to do.
Rest in peace, Samwise Gamgee Traaseth, the guinea pig.
2002-2009.

Got tagged!

Well, I got tagged by my mom. And so, I had to take a picture of myself. RIGHT after I saw that I was tagged, and well, that was easy. Without primping, or anything of that. I don't wear makeup, so, easy as pieeee.

And well, there I am!

Hair cut!

I just cut my hair! It's really short... And I love it!

This is it right after I cut it and figured out that I actually have to try and use gel in my hair...
That was fun...

And that's it! Hopefully soon I'll have some more colors on my head... But for now.. I'll just have short and brown.
